Description: Kelley's McDonald's is seeking male or female applicants for a full-time Maintenance Person. Applicants will be a part of a maintenance team which is responsible for helping take care of as many of the restaurant's cleaning and maintenance tasks as possible. JOB PREREQUISITS: 1.) able to work 25 - 40 hours per week, 2.) neat, clean, well groomed, 3.) dependable and punctual, 4.) able to complete assigned tasks with little supervision, 5.) be a team player, 6.) follow management direction, 7.) able to interact with customers and co-workers. JOB DESCRIPTION: -- 1.) Exterior: This is what our guests see first. The outside of our restaurant must always be neat, clean and free of litter. Maintenance Requirements: * keep curbs, landscaping and lot free of litter, * maintain drive-thru menu board and lane, * monitor cleanliness of signage, building logos and sidewalks, * monitor corral and trash receptacles cleanliness and organization, * spot clean restaurant windows as needed. -- 2.) Lobby and Restrooms: Our customers expect to enjoy their meal in a clean healthy environment. Maintenance Requirements: * assist hostess with maintaining dinning room floor cleanliness, * assist hostess with maintaining restroom room cleanliness, * assist hostess with maintaining door threshold cleanliness. -- 3.) Food Storage and Prep Areas: Our customers expect a hot, fresh meal prepared in a safe environment. Maintenance Requirements: * assist with general kitchen cleanliness, * monitor walk-in freezer and cooler organization and cleanliness, * keep stock rooms clean and organization, * maintain kitchen and hand sinks. -- 4.) Equipment Maintenance: Food cannot be prepared safely if equipment isn't working properly. Also employee morale is adversely affected by improperly working equipment. Maintenance Requirements: * filter cooking vats , * monitor HVAC performance, service if possible when needed, * maintain wash machine performance and cleanliness, * complete assigned tasks on the Equipment Planned Maintenance Calendar.
